CloudStream Repositories and Extensions: Full Working List 2026

A repository is a source list. An extension inside it pulls the actual movies, shows, or anime from a provider. Add a repository, install a few extensions from it, and content starts showing up in CloudStream.

Which Repository Should I Install First?

New to CloudStream? Skip the full list below and start with one of these.

Mega is the fastest path to a working setup. It pulls in several maintained repositories on its own instead of you adding each one by hand.

How to Add a Repository to CloudStream

  1. Open CloudStream, tap Settings (bottom right), then Extensions.
  2. Tap Add Repository.
  3. Enter the shortcode or URL from the tables below.
  4. Tap Open Repository to confirm on the warning popup.
  5. Tap the download icon on whichever extensions you want.
  6. Go to Home, tap the extension selector, and pick your installed extension.

Some repos have a Direct Install link. Tap it inside CloudStream and it skips steps 2 through 4 entirely.

Repository Not Installing? Try This

  • Link fails to open: Use the shortcode instead of the full URL.
  • Nothing happens after tapping Add Repository: Your ISP may be blocking GitHub links. Turn on a VPN and try again.
  • Repo installs but shows no extensions: It’s probably outdated or temporarily down. Try a different one from the same category.
  • App crashes when opening a repo: Update CloudStream first, then retry.

Repositories by Content Type

Movies and TV shows:

Mega, CloudStream Providers, Phisher, Megix/CSX, Hexated.

Anime:

Phisher, Hexated, Avocado, IndoStream, Aniyomi Compat.

Live TV and sports:

CNC Verse (has ads in several of its extensions), Netmirror.

Regional and niche:

3rabi (Arabic), Turkish Providers, CakesTwix (Ukrainian), German Providers, GramFlix and zzikozz (French), Saimuel (Portuguese), IndoStream (Indonesian).

Each repo installs several extensions at once, not just one. Open Repository inside the app before downloading anything. Extension names shift often as maintainers update them, so the list you see live will be more current than anything written here.

Repositories to Avoid

Unmaintained or reported unreliable. Skip these unless you’ve personally confirmed they still work.

  • CloudStream Vietnamese. Outdated build, flagged as unreliable.
  • Old English, Multilingual, and Hexated links hosted on Codeberg. Superseded by the versions listed above.
  • Anything shared in random comment sections instead of a maintained list like this one.

How to Update Repositories and Extensions

CloudStream handles this on its own. Repositories and extensions update automatically with no action needed from you. Want to turn that off? Go to Settings > Updates and Backup and disable Automatic Plugin Updates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Mega for an all-in-one setup. Phisher if you mainly want English and Hindi content.

Add it under Settings > Extensions, then install whichever extensions you want from inside it.

Yes. Most people run two or three for wider content coverage.

Providers change their sites often. Extensions get updated to match, usually within a few days.

It works fine. Some of its extensions carry ads, so an ad-blocker helps if you install it.

No. Everything here is free.

Conclusion

If you’re setting CloudStream up for the first time, start with Mega or Phisher. Both cover a wide range of content without much manual work on your end.

Once you’re comfortable, add language or category-specific repos from the tables above to fill in whatever those two don’t already cover.
